Project Description
The Ann Foundation recently started a partnership with the Institute for Handicapped and Backward People (IHBP), an organization based in the busy city of Kolkata, West Bengal that serves as a ray of hope for women and children with various disabilities.
Since its foundation in 2001, the IHBP has been involved in many educational projects including a school for children with cerebral palsy and other disabilities. In addition, the IHBP has spearheaded several vocational training centers that have helped students acquire skills that will allow them to secure a reliable source of income in the future. Based on the belief that a small contribution can make a big difference, the Ann Foundation has partnered with the IHBP to give the children an opportunity to learn English through online classes.
