blindkid - Kasargod School for the Blind

The Kasargod project began in 2013 when Anil, a teacher from the Chakshumathi School for the Blind, referred us to a headmaster in Kasargod, having been so impressed by several projects previously undertaken by the Ann Foundation in the region.

At the Kasargod School for the Blind, all the students are either fully blind or have only partial vision. Some are already familiar with basic English, and have flourished since the AF began offering additional instruction.
